Social Media, Love Thang or Pang

So your sitting at home ready to hit the net. Do you Goto Facebook and check the happenings of your friends, family or coworkers? Or do you goto Myspace and check the happenings of your friends, family or coworkers? Or do you hit Twitter and either update or get updated on your friends, family or coworkers? See the pattern? We are going Social Media nutso! It seems as if our attention needs to be pulled in five different directions at all times. Don't get me wrong, I am an avid Facebook and Twitter user but when do you reclaim or hold dear at-least some of your privacy. The second I start getting updates of my friends, family or coworkers bathroom habits, I know i'm through. Think about it like this, If our forefathers intended for our every move to be tracked, verified and responded to they wouldn't signed that piece of paper. As the Internet becomes more widespread, affordable to access and easier to use, one must ask? What other rights will we freely Twitter away?
